Security for Client data and other information
The security policy outlined on this page applies only to the public site, and the minimal personal information needed to communicate with Anderson via inquiry pages, email, and the like. The FTP (file transfer protocol) and other data transfer systems provided for our clients to upload their data are protected by multiple levels of security, including encryption. Once within our system, client data is handled by Anderson team members with specific training in maintaining data security, and stored on secure servers. Anderson is a “service provider” under the CCPA. We process personal information only on behalf of our customers, pursuant to written contracts or agreements. Those contracts or agreements, which are already in place, permit Anderson to process our customer’s data (including personal information) only for the purpose of providing our services. While we necessarily have to process personal information transmitted through our network, we do not sell that information to third parties.
Anderson may purchase data, that may include personally identifiable information (PII) at the request of our customers, from reputable brokers. Anderson requires an attestation to CCPA compliance from all data companies that sell data for the purposes of our customers’ marketing efforts.
