DI Engineer


As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and support of the data workflows, data pipelines (ELT or ETL), databases and data warehouses. In this role, you will work with the rest of the Data Engineering team in continuously improving our applications and standards while providing high-valued solutions to the business.


  • Ensure data quality throughout all stages of acquisition and processing, including such areas as data sourcing/collection, hygiene/postal standardization, normalization, transformation, etc.
  • Providing clean, transformed data that is ready to be piped to our BI tool for downstream use by analytics team.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and datasets for analysis and consumption by analysts.
  • Work closely with engineering team to ensure robust data solutions and systems
  • Collaborate on database design, including architecture, normalization, and management.



  • Proficient in at least one of the SQL languages (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • Experience with Python, including object-oriented programming
  • Experience working with a team, successfully delivering on a project
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear attention to detail


  • Understanding of basic source control systems (ex. GitHub)
  • Experience with Linux/Unix based operating systems
  • Experience in any of the Database technologies (RDBMS, Key-Value, Document based, etc.)
  • Experience working with workflow orchestration or DAG tools such as Airflow
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • A learning and growth mindset that is open to giving and receiving feedback


Excellent verbal and written skills including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.



Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel Skills. Multi-tasking.  Strong time management skills. Must be versatile, flexible and have a willingness to work within an environment with constantly changing priorities.



Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
